Habitat for Humanity, Laura Teneyuque and her daughter
Imari (9), excitedly await the process of homeownership.
Laura and Imari attend Calvary Christian Reformed Church
in Holland. Imari attends VanRaalte Elementary School.
Laura is employed by Holland Central Credit Union where
she has worked since 1999. The family recently moved
from transitional housing to Laura's father's house
where they will live until their Habitat house is built.
An activity that both Laura and
Imari enjoy reading. Imari can be found swimming and
fishing in the warmer seasons. Laura enjoys cooking
and styling hair.
Owning their own home will mean
so much to this family including stability, security
and a chance for a better future. As Laura works to
complete her 250 hours of sweat equity, she hopes to
have the opportunity to share her and Imari's story
with others while helping others build there homes.
