Donation of
material goods or professional services is called a
“gift in kind”. These contributions are very valuable
to Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity, helping us stretch
our budget and build more homes in our communities.
They also benefit the people or companies that make
the gifts by allowing them to put excess inventory to
work, or use their talents in helping our community.
When you make a gift-in-kind, you are entitled to receive
all the tax credits allowed by law. And you can take
pride in knowing your gifts have found a good home and
made a real difference.
Consult your tax advisor prior donating
to verify the legality of taking a tax deduction.
Any materials or services

If you have used building
materials to donate, you can still help Lakeshore Habitat
by donating these materials to our ReStore
at 2522 Van Ommen Drive in Holland. Their phone number
is 616-399-7006. All store proceeds are used to offset
the construction cost of our homes.
