The Heemstra family looks forward to having a house they can call home.

Michelle Heemstra and her four children currently live in transitional housing through the Community Housing Partnership. Michelle describes herself as “truly grateful” for the opportunity to build and purchase a house through
Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity.

Jacob (15), Jonah (14), Hannah (12) and Sarah (10) all attend Zeeland Public schools.  Their hobbies include: biking, reading, and camping as a family.  Jacob and Jonah both enjoy swimming while Hannah and Sarah like to play soccer.  The girls also enjoy baking with their mom.

The Heemstra family is very active at the church they attend – Ridgepoint Community.  Michelle works at Shoreline Orthopedic and Sports Medicine.  She also has been working on accruing then 250 hours of Sweat Equity which are required before she and her children can move into their new house.
