Elven and Sherri are both appreciative of the fact
that
they were chosen for partnership with Habitat. |
Elven and Sherri Morgan have found it difficult to find affordable housing for their family of six. Because of the high amount of rent they have had to payand their desire to own a house, they applied to Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity.
Elven and Sherri’s children include: Camay (10), Braxton (6), Jasmine (2) and Brayden (6 months). Camay and Braxton attend VanderBilt Charter Academy. Sherri works for Finley Fine Jewelry in Younkers Department store where she has been employed for to eight years. Elven cares for the children and maintains a part-time job in the evenings. Together the family enjoys many fun activities such as video games, crafts and basketball. They attend Resurrection Life Church in Grand Haven.
Elven and Sherri are working on accruing 500 hours of Sweat Equity by constructing other Habitat houses and by attending required courses. They have already saved their required downpayment, and are anxious to begin work on their own house. |
