Earth day is an annual celebration to honor the achievements of the environmental movement, as well as raise awareness of the need to protect the Earth’s natural resources for generations to come.
When you support the Lakeshore ReStore, you are celebrating Earth Day! How?
When you donate to the ReStore, you’re REDUCING waste.
By donating your old favorites you’re reducing the amount of usable materials in our landfills. Did you know almost 6 million pounds have been diverted in the last 10 years just from our ReStores? This spring, utilize our free pick up service (or new priority pick up option!) when you don’t have the means to drop off your high-quality donations. And if you’re wondering what we accept, you can always find out here.
When you shop at the ReStore, you’re REUSING great product at a discounted price - for an even greater purpose.
We only accept high-quality items, whether used or brand new, that we know have lots of life left. Plus, every day we are putting new items out on the salesfloor for you to shop. Shopping at the ReStore is a great way to stay on budget, and also supports Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity, meaning you’re getting a great deal for a greater purpose. Your purchase supports the building of homes, communities and hope in Allegan, Ottawa and Van Buren Counties for individuals and families who thought homeownership was out of reach. Wondering what types of items we have? Take a sneak peek here.
